Douglas Haddon, 71, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, Nov 3, 2013 in Baytown. He was born November 13, 1941 in Crosby to his late parents, Lawrence Haddon and Nell Ewell Haddon. Mr. Haddon was a lifelong resident of the Baytown-Crosby expanse, a 1960 graduate of Crosby High School, member of the Crosby Buffalo football teams and also excelled at other sports while in loftier school. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and in his younger days, Douglas enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He spent most of his recent time visiting people, dancing, eating at Scarlet Lobster and attending the Crosby Buffalo football reunions. Preceding him in death were his parents; married woman, Vicki Haddon; brother, Lawrence Haddon; son-in-constabulary, Michael Clement and friend Wayne Clement. Survivors include his daughter, Carole Villere and her husband Denis of Baytown; brother, Donald Haddon and his married woman Patsy of Crosby; granddaughter, Samantha Villere; friends, Lisa Carranza, Isabel Carranza and Niwassa Clement; niece and nephew, Jeff Haddon and his wife Cassie and Tami Harrison and her husband Shawn several great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of other friends and family. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.k., Wednesday, November vi, 2013 at Navarre Funeral Dwelling. Services will be held at 2:00 p.yard., Thursday, Nov seven, 2013 at the funeral domicile with Pastor Philip Weatherford officiating. Burial volition follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Denis Villere, David Havel, Eddie Cowins, Jeff Haddon, John Severson and Gerald Smith. Honorary pallbearers volition exist Shawn Harrison, Lee Franta and the 1959-1960 Crosby Buffalo Football Squad. Dear Carole,
I am and so sorry I cannot show my respect for your father by attention his funeral. Douglas was a young male child who played with my nephews and cousins when nosotros all lived in the country (FM1942). He was always a happy, fun person. I pray that God will comfort you and mend your broken centre.

I worked with Douglas Lawrence from 1989 until his retirement. During my late husband'due south disease he would accept me to lunch once a week. He was a very adept friend, taught me a lot about plumbing and will be truly missed.

We are then deplorable to hear near your begetter's passing. Doug was a unique private and will be missed. We think of him daily and will keep to call back of him with appreciation everytime we open up the refrigerator that he was kind enough to purchase for us at the role.
